In late 2024 I started getting more involved with the Jim Toy Community Center, an LGBTQ+ Organization based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The JTCC's most well known event/initiative is Ann Arbor Pride, hosted every August in Downtown Ann Arbor.
At this time, the JTCC was about to secure a physical location, so we thought it would be a good idea to rebrand with a new, fresh logo and visual identity to commemorate this occasion! While designing the new logo, I wanted to take inspiration from their pre-established Ann Arbor Pride logo, and make the JTCC logo more fun and inviting than its predecessors. The negative space and openness on the right side represents looking towards the future.
